FAQ

How long does a session last?

Benefit from focused, distraction-free 1-hour sessions with our dedicated physical therapists, who evaluate and treat your movement-related disorder with personalized care.

Do I need a Doctors prescription?

Experience the freedom of direct access to physical therapy services without the need for a doctor's prescription, empowering you to take charge of your health journey with confidence and ease.

Do you accept insurance?

At Galardi Physical Therapy, we currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and cash-based payments. While insurance is accepted, please note that certain criteria must be met for services to qualify for coverage—specifically, treatment must be medically necessary and include a formal plan of care, such as exercise prescription and functional training.

Manual therapies or single-session treatments provided without a full plan of care are considered wellness services, which typically do not meet insurance guidelines for medical necessity and will be billed as cash-pay services.

For cash-based wellness services, I’m also delighted to offer you a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider or Health Savings Account (HSA) for potential partial reimbursement.

I understand navigating insurance can be confusing—I'm happy to help you determine whether your concern may be covered under your current plan or explore other ways I can support your health and wellness goals. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!

What is a superbill?

A superbill from our physical therapy clinic is a detailed invoice that provides you with a comprehensive record of the services you received during your visit, facilitating potential reimbursement from your insurance provider or Health Savings Account (HSA).

What does it mean to be an out of network provider?

We do not have contracts with health insurance companies, so we do not bill insurance directly for services. Instead, our clients pay us directly for their personalized, one-on-one physical therapy sessions. This approach enables us to dedicate our undivided attention to our clients throughout the entire session and to tailor treatments and methods specifically to their goals, free from the constraints of insurance rules and regulations.
